Asteroid B-612 built a two-guitar sound from Detroit rock, hard-edged blues and the Australian underground.
First launch
The first line-up paired singer Grant McIver with guitarists John Spittles and Michael Gibbons, bassist Scott Nash and drummer Darren Pierce. Their self-titled debut appeared in 1993.
Au Go Go years
Stewart Cunningham and Ben Fox joined for Forced into a Corner. The Teen Sublimation Riffs EP and Not Meant for This World followed, before Graham Spittles replaced McIver on vocals.
Return
After the original run ended in 2004, McIver, Johnny Casino and Fox reconvened with Xabi Garre and Juancho López. Recorded in Australia and Spain, Roads, Stars. arrived in 2025.
